Here is the fresh water aquarium tank without proper under gravel filter and without internal submersible water filter and purifier. I have got 18 fish currently here :)

22 Gallons fresh water aquarium tank.
2 Pleco
2 Albino Tinfoil Barbs
2 White Butterfly koi (coy)
2 White and yellow koi (coy)
2 Red and White Comet Goldfish
2 Fantail Goldfish
2 Bala Sharks
2 Albino Rainbow Sharks
2 Red Wag Platies

And I am a beginner yet in aquarium and all the fish stuff. I purchased aquarium and being a beginner ended up in buying really basic aquarium and cold water + warm water different fish species. The water was poorly cycling and the aquarium was getting dirty after every 2 or 3 days and then I did a bit of research and realized that I need to change some stuff in aquarium and buy some good filters for this 22 gallons fresh water fish tank. Here is how I did it.

I bought these two filters which are very very essential for a fresh water small fish tank. One is Under Gravel (stones) Filter and the second is used inside the aquarium in the water to clean the water further and its Aquarium Internal Water Filter.

The Under Gravel Filter cost me $3 USD and Aquarium Internal Filter cost me $8 USD.

Lets begin. Took fish out, removed water from tank using a siphon hose (custom made, water pipe + coke bottle).

Okay, so before I had a basic PVC pipe with holes in it as a under gravel filter but this one ‘Under Gravel Filter’ is genuine which really cleans and cycle the water. In addition Internal filter cleans the water further inside the aquarium.

So now I hope I won’t be needing huge water changes every week and water will stay clean and clear with these filters. I will post the video and image updates in coming posts.
